Media news

Here you will find all NCB’s current media news including, press releases and opinion pieces, as well as a full archive.

NCB works closely with the media to promote positive stories about children and young people, and to highlight new and best practice to professionals working in the sector.

The media relations team deliver press releases and briefings which target a range of policy areas as well as promoting NCB's policy priorities.

Find press releases on our policy areas:

Welfare/justice divide

Transport, traffic and travel

Healthy and sustainable lifestyles

Well-being in schools

Narrowing the gap in early years

NCB's media relations team also research, write and edit the NCB Now pages in the Children & Young People Now magazine, published weekly by Haymarket Publishing (and available free to NCB members).

NCB does not comment on specific cases and we cannot normally put journalists in contact with children and their families.
