Financial planning
In conducting financial planning for your organisation it useful
to be aware of the different sources of funds available, including
understanding of different kinds of borrowing and debt. It is
unlikely that any organisation is going to be funded entirely by
one source e.g. earned income, grant, contract or donations.
Instead it is likely that organisations will rely on a combination
of funding sources, what could be termed hybrid-funding
sources.
Financial planning is not a stand-alone task; it is an integral
part of strategic planning, defining the offering of the
organisation and risk assessment. It cannot be done in isolation.
Fundraisers should have clarity about outputs and outcomes and seek
to fund specific projects rather than just the organisation.

sustainable funding strategy, visit the
